I then spend another hour or so spelunking through the games', the mod folders', NMMs' files, and NMM's settings looking for anything I could recognize as some sort of custom-override (that I could recognize, I'm not a programmer): Nothing. I then delete F4SE, thinking there could be something in it's scripting causing this: Nothing. Thinking there could be something in one of the mods I was running that could be overriding my custom.ini, I disable every mod, all 140 or so: Nothing. I go through a world of trial and error: Nothing. I spend about an hour digging through the game installation looking for some extra custom.ini file that could be causing this: Nothing. I try launching the game from either it's original. ini file and re-write it from scratch: Nothing. I launch the game again Still on the left monitor. And it's still trying to display on the left monitor. I went into the custom file, re-added the display instruction, saved, re-launched the game. No big deal, the options menu is known to re-write the custom file. I then launched the game, and found it trying to display on my left monitor. Yesterday, while troubleshooting a CTD that was happening, I went into the game's advanced options and disabled a suspected graphics option. I have a triple-monitor setup, and in order to get Fallout 4 to display on the center monitor, I need to use the "Fallout4Custom.ini" file, in particular, the iLocation X=1920 instruction. Short version: After about three hours worth of process of elimination, it looks like something in NMM is directly overriding the fallout4custom.ini file, and leaving me in a bind.
